MARKINGS
It is difficult to really find a country only thanks to the marking on the ground, this meta can help you to make the difference between several countries or in more precise cases but is not the first meta to observe.
This map and the meta of ground markings in general is only valid for major roads (highways, national, regional). The smaller roads very often have no markings on the ground or are identical in most countries.
Here are some markings on the ground that can be very useful to you :
Ireland is the only country in Europe to have yellow side lines. They are only on the national roads but if you see them and you are in Europe, you will necessarily be in Ireland.
Chile is the only country in America to have only white lines
France, Finland and Denmark are the only countries to have white dashed side lines
Those of Denmark are even more recognizable with these smaller squares
In Argentina, Uruguay, Finland and Philippines, the center lines are white and turn yellow in the turns as in the photos above
Norway is the only country in Europe to have yellow central lines
